Anti Ageing Skin Cream, Is It Worth The Money ?

July 21st, 2008 by Zeriva Richards

When it comes to anti ageing skin care, women and increasingly men are looking for an instance fix to take the years from their faces. This is why the skin care industry is a multi-million pound industry as people try the non surgical facelift route to a younger looking skin. The problem is that when you decide to do something about it, you have left it too long and you are always trying to remedy the damage. To have younger looking skin you need to start young so tell your daughters and sons to start now.

One big ageing factor are the UV B rays that affect the skin whether the sun is out or not. This means that even when the sky is overcast and covered in clouds, these little demons get through to work on your skin to make it older. So from a young age, you are being bombarded all the time you are outside. Very few women appreciate this fact because they are more concerned about protecting themselves from the UV-A rays that come from a clear blue sky.

So, unless you had a very knowledgeable mum, you have been affected by these ageing rays since the day you were born. In the school playground, out playing and now when you go shopping or go to work these rays are slowly ageing your skin. To be protected, you need to be wearing sun blocker at all times, not only on your face but also your neck and hands which are the most overlooked area. It would be a good idea to substitute your usual moisturiser for a good sun screen cream.

Playing guitar without errors or backache

July 21st, 2008 by Shane Fenham

Without the proper posture, playing guitar for long periods of time can cause back strain. Here are a couple of tips about holding your guitar in the correct fashion. Pick up the guitar so that the back of the guitar rests against your stomach. If you play right handed the neck of the guitar should be aiming towards the left. Gently rest the body of the guitar against your upper right thigh. You should hold the guitar neck with your left hand and drape your right arm over the body of the guitar so that your hands can easily reach the strings. Your position should feel both comfortable and natural while you are playing guitar.

For right handed players, you will use your left hand to form the notes and chords. Bend the fingers on your left hand so they are pressing the strings down on the fret board.

The curvature of the guitar neck allows your hand to fit comfortably into the shape of the neck. Your thumb arches easily over the top of the neck. This thumb position is best for constructing chords. Another option, which is most common when playing guitar scales, is to press your left thumb on the back of the guitar neck. Try using each thumb position, and choose the one that is most comfortable.

Why SEO Is Needed For Any Website

If you have a great website, but no traffic, then you may need to learn the basics of SEO. SEO or search engine optimization is the technique of making your website search engine friendly. You’ve gone through the steps of setting up your business, getting all your licenses and insurance in place and you’ve designed your site or hired someone to design it for you.

When a search engine user enters a search term into their favorite search engine, those search engines use a ranking system to return websites based on relevance and popularity of the site. The higher your site ranks in the search engines rankings, the more likely the searcher will click on the link and land on your site.

The key is to have your site in the top ten listings for your keywords. An effective working website is the most cost-effective advertising, marketing, informational and promotional medium available to businesses of any size. The trick to getting your site higher in the rankings is through the use of SEO. SEO is an ongoing process for your website. You can start by learning how the search engines compute their rankings.

Many people think that the major search engines have virtually every page on the internet indexed. Most people don’t look past the third page of search engine results when they’re searching for something online. It is not a well known fact that less percentage of all websites is indexed. Sites that are just copies of other sites won’t be listed, or if they are too new they may be passed over. There could be some technical problems with your site such as bad robot text, or broken links that keep the search engines away.

Moody Church’s Dr. Lutzer Out Of Step With Founders

July 21st, 2008 by Dan Kalomd

by Daniel LaLond Jr.

Unknown to his supporters, the respected pastor of Moody Church in Chicago, Dr. Erwin W. Lutzer, annuls key biblical texts with strange, unorthodox interpretations. By doing so, this modern evangelical icon promises paradise to the unrepentant and flatly opposes Moody founder Dwight Lyman Moody on the ABC’s of salvation.

Christians worldwide who otherwise extol much of Erwin W. Lutzer’s instruction are not aware that their dear pastor and teacher (and his publisher Moody Press) has drifted far from the founding principles of D. L. Moody in general and of the Christian faith in particular. When these dear believers support Erwin Lutzer and Moody Press they believe that they are in step with historic Christianity as well as with the Moody name, is, however, such an assumption valid? To illustrate kindly read Galatians 5:19-21:

The deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you just as I have forewarned you that those who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (Gal 5:19-21).

These verses are surely simple enough without interpretation, but I must ask: What message is Paul trying to convey in this passage? What does the phrase, “shall not inherit” actually mean? “For if ye live after the flesh,” warns Paul in another verse, “ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.” True to generations of history, Paul issues a manifest warning about the dangers of not entering the eternal kingdom of God for those who refuse to repent.

Pave Diamond Engagement Ring

Diamond connotes beauty, wealth, and power. In ancient times as well as in the modern day setting, this precious stone is considered one of the most expensive possessions a person could ever have. It has been dubbed “a woman’s best friend” and has indeed upheld this label.

As time goes by, diamonds become symbols of perpetuity perhaps due to its robust physical characteristic.

Nowadays, couples exchange diamond rings to show their enduring love for each other. In engagements as well as weddings, diamonds proved to be the most popular, and needless to say, the most expensive. There are many kinds of diamond rings. Each has its unique characteristic to suit a person’s style and preference. They also come in different colors and designs to choose from.

Bezel, channel, flush, and burnish are just some of the many settings of a diamond ring.

Of the many decorative variations of diamond rings, pave diamond engagement ring outshines others as it has its unique cunning appearance. How it acquires its facade lies in its pattern.

Taken from a French word which literally means “paved”, pave diamond engagement ring has diamonds that are set very close together, without partitions, thereby resembling a cobblestone road. The precious stones are fixed in narrow conical holes and placed in just about equal level with the surface of the ring while it’s surrounding metals, usually made of white gold or platinum, are mounted forming tiny beads to support and hold these pave-set stones in place.
