Critical Advice for Buying a Diamond

August 14th, 2008 by Brad Morgan

by Brad Morgan

A diamond has long been idolized as the ultimate symbol of lasting love because of it’s purity and ageless beauty.

If you are confused about why some diamonds are so much more expensive than others, you are not alone. Why oh why can one diamond engagement ring be worth $8000 and another one that doesn’t look that much different to the naked eye be worth only $2000?

Diamonds are graded based on 4 criteria. The first of these is referred to as the carat, which is a measurement of the weight. The more carats the more expensive a diamond becomes. Size is not the only factor that matters however, remember: it is what is on the inside that counts.

Carat size may push the price up, but only slightly if there is no clarity. Several facets determine clarity on both an internal and external basis. Internal aspects, dubbed inclusions, and external aspects, dubbed blemishes, all contribute to the overall clarity score.

The quantity, type, location, measurement, and tint of its inclusions, or internal facets, as well as its blemishes, or features on the surface, all factor into the clarity. The clarity ranges from the rank of ‘pure,’ meaning no flaws, to ‘heavily included,’ meaning that it is seriously damaged.

These differences are due to the cooling process of the diamonds against other materials. Lack of clarity is a lack of perfection. A diamond is forever, and no one wants to be stuck with an imperfect one forever; therefore, this impacts the price.

RC Cars – Race Hard Without Risk of Injury

August 14th, 2008 by John Brennan

by John Brennan

When you hear the term radio controlled (RC) nitro high power car, it probably brings to mind events like a Saturday evening at the hot rod races or of the roar of dragsters hurtling down the track making your head spin.

The things that usually come to mind instantly are the smells – the exhaust fumes are so strong its like they’ve invade every cell in your body – and the noise. The crowd screams as the drivers pull away from the starting line and the action begins in a blue haze from the spinning tires.

But, if getting on down to the raceway regularly isn’t an option for you, then you can get at least some of the same chills and thrills from having your own nitro high power car to race around the neighborhood.

The RC high power car runs on nitro. It does not have to be a dragster style RC car either, because all RC nitro cars use the fuel. Interestingly, the nitro radio controlled cars don’t have a way of getting lubrication through the engine like the real cars do, so the nitro fuel for these mini racers have a small amount of castor oil added to the fuel mix to help keep the small engines from becoming overheated and ultimately from being damaged.

Many people wonder what the real difference is between RC electric cars and the nitro high power car models and how they should decide which type to purchase.

We do what ever we want because of our internet business

I woke to the sound of lightning and thunder, the clock had quarter to seven and it was time for me to turn on the coffee anyway. I went out on the deck, the lake was really rolling in the wind. I made my way back into the porch just in time, as the rain came in a driving force I hadn’t seen for some time, we needed a good drenching.

My beautiful lady soon joined me, we went around checking windows before joining each other on the couch with coffee. The weather man says it’s going to do this for most of the day and that?s all right, we needed a break from being out on the lake the past few days anyway. We have coffee and, just wake to the sound of rain.

I go and bring out a fresh apple strudel and, we almost ate the whole thing that’s how good it was. We decide to get some work done in our business, that sounds like a good plan even though we promised to not get carried away with that, were here to take a nice long break. This internet business were in has been doing great and it’s raining anyway.

I fire up the computer, and make some more coffee, then were off and running. We have learned from the best, so in no time we have all our advertising and articles completely done and uploaded. Even our email has all been answered, we make a great team. We connect and inspire each other, it’s totally unbelievable.
