Personal Injury Attorney: Handling Your Case

August 19th, 2008 by Sherri Combs

Many people think that any accident should receive legal ramifications. If nobody has any serious injuries it may not be something to file a claim. If there is a complaint or not depends on the ability of financial destruction that has been sustained.

If you have been injured at work maybe you have a legitimate principle. Are your injuries because of your employer? If you are unsure, you must obtain the assistance of a personal injury lawyer.

Did you suffer from a slip and fall? Was it the result of someone else’s failure to comply with safety standards? Did the property where you fell provide the proper guidelines and signage to insure against such injuries?

It is the burden of the people who own the estate or land to secure the safety of all people. Insurance is enforced to ensure that any injured parties are able to make a personal injury compensation claim in case they receive an injury. Always call a personal injury attorney to see if you have a case.

Have you been injured as a result of the purchase of consumer goods that were defective? You may be able to pursue a compensation claim from the manufacturer and societies where the goods could have been done. A lawyer is one who will make a decision if you have a strong request or not.

Fixer’s and forclosure properties have always been the “jewels” that RE investors look for in order to make big profits. However if you dont do your home work before hand you may loose not only your investment but your profit as well.

Use a step by step mind set. “Go by the numbers” when reviewing all the areas of the investment that you want to focus on here are a few things to think about and add to your list.

Please Note: The following elements discussed are not listed in any particular order. Nor do they all hold the same value in relation to each other, but they must ALL be considered in their entirety. The property should meet at least one of the criteria, and should have no unjustifiable issues in any one single area.

I give you…THE LIST:

KNOW WHY ON PRICE

Investors ALWAYS see the price first.

We are all looking for below market value. Buy for a little, sell for a lot. But why are they selling so low? Is it to solve one of the “3 D’s”. (Debt, Death, Divorce)

What problems does the property have if any? Old cracked and faulty plumbing? bad electric? If its a older craftsman style home those problems are very common. is the foundation in good order? Dont forget holding costs.

Holding costs are one of the biggest profit killers to investors. Taxes, mortgage, comissions to agents (both selling and buying) gas, electric…all theses things add up…and FAST.

Do you regularly shop online? Do you purchase products online because you think it’s cheaper? The chances of you buying a product for less money than what you find in the local store may not be anymore. Gas prices have risen dramatically in the last year, leaving retailers to make up the costs. This has begun to spill over into shipping and handling charges too.

Here is an example of issues you can run into when shopping online versus the local shop. Say you want to buy a crib for your newborn baby. You find the one you want in the store for $150 without tax.. However, you decide to check online for a lower price. You find it at another store for $125. Shipping costs with tax included raise the price to $155. Shipping is going to take up to 2 weeks. Are you going to buy it online? Not likely. Now, what if you could purchase that crib and have free shipping? Would you buy it? If you had the time to waste, the chances are good that you wouldn’t use the online service.

Now what if you could find good promotional offers that you could use when you purchase products online and checkout. Would you use them? Some online stores are offering such deals including 10 percent off when you buy a certain amount and so on. Some places such as JcPenney are offering a free shipping service coupon/code.

Web Hosting ? Shop Carefully before you Buy

The companies that provide Internet-connected servers, space and bandwidth for a domain, for one or more web sites, are called Web Hosts. Many large companies have private networks which allow them to host domains on their own equipment and IP address range. A rented web host is a necessity for the majority who want internet presence.

You can choose from several different hosting plans. You can locate free ones, and others that charge upwards of $100 per month. Minimal bandwidth and small disk space is offered by some. For everything else the web site owner is responsible. The range of services may include server administration, backups, web design help, and troubleshooting among others.

Web hosting services may involve sharing a single server with multiple other users, even thousands or more. This arrangement is efficient and spares hosting companies unnecessary costs. The arrangement works fine because many web sites are simple and low volume. Considering a dedicated server may be helpful when you or one or more of the others grow.

Only your domain is hosted by a dedicated server as suggested by the name. You may place a single web site or many web sites on it. The access is controlled by you. You can also try doing the server administration yourself. This will cost you a lot of time, but it will save you money on support. If you do not have enough knowledge, you can end up losing more money than you save.
