Understanding Chakra

A chakra is the human body’s energy axis that receives, interacts with and conveys life force between an individual and his/her environment. Its direct English translation means a spinning wheel. Furthermore, ancient Hindu writings reveal that of the body’s 88,000 chakra points, there are seven which are considered of primary importance.

These seven major chakras are root/base chakra, sex/navel chakra, stomach/solar plexus chakra, heart chakra, throat chakra, brow/third eye chakra, and the crown chakra. These major chakra points in our body take in and transmit energies to and from the general surroundings including the people and elements around us. As such, they directly influence and affect an individual’s corporeal, psychological, intellectual/emotional and spiritual/mystical activities.

One interesting aspect of the explanation and characterization of chakras is the uncanny similarity reached by both the Hindus and Chinese that they are an integral part of man’s conscious and subconscious experience. Add to this the fact that both civilizations use the same theory for promoting a healthy and successful life of an individual.

The continuous contact of energy points with its host (our body) and the environment regardless of whether we are awake or not, gives them a special power over the our physical appearance and bodily functions, including our health and emotions. A malfunction of one of the seven major energy points results in our feeling ill and weak, both physically and mentally.

Chakra Energy Unleashed

At the outset, let me share a secret that very few people in the world know (and if they know, they don’t acknowledge it!). All the human beings have a huge reservoir of energy, large enough to make sure that our physical and mental health always remains upbeat. This secret is a commonplace among large Hindu and Buddhist population in India and other parts of the world, for most Americans and Europeans, this is an invaluable piece of information, which they’d like to explore further.

This reservoir of energy is known as ‘Chakra Energy’. Chakras are the energy centers located in the upper half of the body. Though, there are thousands of Chakras in the entire human body, but primarily, there are just seven Chakras that dominate the overall health of the body. These are:

* Base Chakra (RED) located at the coccyx (base of the spine).

* Spleen Chakra (ORANGE) situated just below the navel.

* Solar Plexus or the Power Chakra (YELLOW) located in the stomach region, just above the navel.

* Heart Chakra (GREEN) located in the center of the chest.

* Throat Chakra (BLUE) situated in the throat region.

* Third Eye Chakra (INDIGO) located in between the eyes.

* Crown Chakra (VIOLET) located on top of the head.

Though invisible, these Chakras constantly and continuously rotate in the bodies at their stated positions. This movement is responsible for the production of energy, called Chakra Energy.

How To Unlock Your Psychic Abilities

Most of us live out our day-to-day lives unaware of the powers like deep within us, powers that can transform our lives. The spiritual consciousness of almost everybody on the planet is increasing as many more people seek to develop their own psychic powers.

Almost everyone has had some form of paranormal experience during their lives, often in the form of telepathy or precognition. Psychic abilities are often brought on by some form of physical or psychological trauma, although this can happen in children it may also arise in adults.

Latent psychic powers can be refined through guidance and repeated practice, so rest assured that even if you think you have no psychic abilities they can be developed. These psychic powers are often inherited, so if your mother or grandmother is a known clairvoyant or medium, then it is likely that you will pick up the skills rapidly.

If you are thinking about using your psychic abilities in a professional manner you need to be aware that you will require much more than psychic skills to make a living. It will take time to build up respectable clientele and to be able to arrange enough consultations to pay the same as the standard 9 to 5 job. The most effective way of expanding its clientele will be through word of mouth and this can take a lot of time.

Modern Face Lifting Techniques: Laser Face Lift Technology

June 6th, 2008 by Dark Sith

by Dark Sith

As people seek more ways to fight aging, the demand for face lifts has increased. Since having surgery is very risky and involves a lot of pain, the more popular method is going through the non-surgical procedure called a laser face lift. Instead of stretching the facial skin, a laser lift reduces the wrinkles and fine lines on the face by using carbon dioxide.

This technology jolts the face with heat energy that penetrates up to the tissue underneath so the collagen shrinks and the skin becomes firmer. The laser greatly irons out the wrinkled and damaged skin tissues so the face becomes a smoother and softer surface to touch.

Unlike other facial lifting methods, using a laser controls the depth of the treatment. The procedure can be performed on the whole face or on specific spots of it, such as the forehead, eye area, cheeks and mouth area. Besides being a very effective way of removing the age from your skin, the procedure does not hurt. Unlike a surgical face lift, going with laser will not cause you to bleed or scar because it does not involve scalpels and incisions. Since no surgery is required, the process can carry on without general anesthesia. This is a good thing because it immediately eliminates all possible side effects associated with having anesthesia. Perhaps the most important benefit of laser face lift is the shorter time required for recovery. Compared to the days and weeks you might need after a surgery, laser technology only asks for about an hour or two.

In Defense of Our Shores: Navy Recruiting

So you want to be in the Navy and protect this great country from all threats? Well the easiest way to do this is to surf the internet to find out where the closest recruiter is with your zip code. There are a lot of US Navy websites so you won’t be lost. In these websites you ca ask a lot of questions and the recruiters will be more than happy to answer all your queries. You need to understand what the deal is before joining, of course.

The most common questions are about the things that will happen when you are already in active duty, including details of the routine, practices, benefits, vacations, options, schooling, and the like. Another common question is about the retirement options after the Navy, including pension, insurance, and other benefits.

When you’ve confirmed your decision to join the Navy, your recruiter will schedule you for a military entrance processing exam, helping you with the paperwork and the forms required for it. The recruiter will discuss your opportunities with you, and help you come up with an outline of your plan to reach your goals, based on your interest and experiences.

Before a candidate can take the MEPS, he or she has to pass the initial requirements for candidates of recruitment. You have to supply very basic information like age, citizenship, dependents, single parenthood, financial obligations, educational background, drugs and alcohol count, and your medical, legal, and moral standards.
