I’ve been hearing a lot about T Harv Eker’s Peak Potentials Training programs lately. And, I’ve been trying to figure out what all of the fuss was about. My guess was that Peak Potentials was just another company pushing “get rich quick” schemes like we need another one of those!

A friend told me that Peak Potentials had a website that told all about the camps and seminars that were available. So, I decided to check it out. Some of their programs drummed up images of a bunch of G.I. Joes and Janes preparing for military warfare ~ courses like the Guerilla Business School, and Enlightened Warrior Training Camp; there were others, however, like the Millionaire Mind Intensive and Extreme Wealth that intrigued me also.

Being an avid surfer of the Internet variety, I scrounged up a video of T Harv Eker teaching one of the Enlightened Warrior Training Camps. To be honest, I was quite surprised – pleasantly! – and I instinctively knew why people are so charged up about Peak Potentials. He wasn’t teaching some abstract concepts – he was teaching how conquer your fear to experience real success. By the time the video was over, I was sold.

T Harv Eker didn’t start off wealthy. The son of European immigrant parents, his journey to get to where’s he’s at now (read: multi-millionaire!) financially made him realize some important differences between “wealthy” people and the rest of us. Intrigued, I decided to try it out for myself.

Have you ever seriously pondered if business coaching is essential for business owners and entrepreneurs? You might vaguely assume that this is some sort of crisis-help for businesses that are not doing well. That’s not the case though. Business coaching is very important today to provide you with additional advantage to succeed.

If you want to make a difference in the lives of young people, you should try coaching youth basketball. I did, and boy am I happy about the whole thing. There are many many places that will show you how to coach youth basketball, from charities to workshops to who knows what else.

Even if you have no training or history when it comes to coaching basketball you can still do this. There are many charity groups who will help give you a hand. All you need is a few hours a week and a patient attitude with kids and you will do great.

Kids these days need distractions to keep them from getting into trouble. Organized sports help kids stay off drugs, away from gangs, and in school. This is an amazing result for just shooting a few hoops. Every once in a while you may find yourself in the presence of true talent and you can consider yourself the one who helped it be discovered. Your influence actually helps these kids have safer lives and better futures.

Thinking about all the positive influence you could have, why don’t you coach youth basketball? There’s no reason why you couldn’t. Help make a difference in a bunch of kids’ lives while getting you out of the house. Make the neighborhood a better place by single-handedly reducing drug usage and crime.

Your procrastination is robbing your children, grand children, great grand children …. It is up to you to break the cycle of working everyday for a Corporation, Owning your own business without true leverage and / or working for someone else. As long as you stay in this cycle you will always be disadvantaged when it comes to reaching Financial Freedom. The income earned between the wealthy and middle class across the Globe is widening and your window of opportunity is closing with each passing day. When will you decide to take action.

Your journey to Wealth Building and Financial Freedom is at a dead stop until you stop procrastinating. If you really want to change your life, no really want to change your life, then you need to prioritize your actions and stop your procrastination. Everyone on this planet has the exact 24 hours in a day to accomplish their tasks. If this is true then why do some people make fortunes and others barely get by? The simple truth of the matter is that the wealthy understand that it takes action to accomplish goals and procrastination is the number one killer of dreams. NUMBER ONE KILLER of dreams. Will you stop your procrastination today?

Making costly mistakes while you “struggle forward” in your business can cause you sleepless nights and a loss of morale.

If you possess endless determination, lots of time and an abundance of spare cash then you can definitely pursue learning by trial and error. However, even if you are part of the minority in this position you still risk becoming disillusioned, losing focus and joining the majority of business owners who have tried and failed.

Perhaps you should ask yourself whether you really need to keep on making all these mistakes, or whether it might not be smarter to learn from successful people who have done it before. Perhaps it would be best to find a suitable mentor.

When you choose a business mentor, be sure to check their experience both in business and as a mentor. Does the person have a proven track record?

Be sure to consider the structure of the mentoring process. Will you be able to get all the answers you need to make the best possible decisions?

Only when you isolate what you want and why you want it can you confidently move forward. The more you know what you want, the easier it is to achieve it.

Statistics show that over 90% of new businesses fail in the first 5 years. In the end, the cost of having a business mentor is likely to be significantly less than that of the normal “crash and burn” business approach. In fact, the way I see it there is not cost at all – it is an investment in your success.

I wish I was a fly on the wall inside Google’s Corporate Head Quarters, as they must be laughing their heads off. Do a search on Google, Yahoo or MSN and you will find numerous advertisements on how someone is going to make you rich. Google makes millions on these adds and Oh and the best part is that you are going to become Rich with NO effort. Sorry, but that is not the way the business world works. Building financial freedom takes effort, find a mentor and get after it.

Your mentor and / or the system you join will decide if you are to be successful building your financial future with them. When you are getting ready to join a network marketing company, you need to take a hard look at the person you will be joining. Is that person or someone above him putting a system in place that will maximize your chances for success. Here is a dirty secret: Most Network Marketing Companies have decaying systems that are not state of the art and will not maximize your chances for success.

ENOUGH of the Hype. The internet is full of people telling you, “We have a system that will do everything for you, you do not need to do anything.” ENOUGH of these lies. If you tie your future to these “Witch Doctors” then be ready for failure and then jump to the next big idea. Being successful requires effort, it requires learning, growing into a better person and it requires you to care for others that wish to succeed too. Run as far away from these “no work” opportunities as you can get. Grab an honest opportunity and put your passion to work.
