When you change your perception of your life, the world looks different. Optimism and pessimism are two sides of the same coin. Challenges, whether big or little, are given the proper perspective when you learn to be grateful for what you have already. You realize how truly rich your life already is.

Learning to express gratitude can take many forms. The first one that springs to mind is journaling. Another way to show others that you are grateful is to wear jewelry. Every day you wear it, you will be making gratitude a part of your life.

Why Gratitude Jewelry?

Jewelry can be created from various metals like gold and silver or other gems, crystals, and beads. Whatever its composition jewelry can add positive energy to your life through symbolism.

Gratitude jewelry is symbolic of what you feel inside. It reminds you to be grateful for what you have. It could be a pair of earrings, a bracelet or a necklace that you choose to convey this sentiment.

Wearing gratitude makes you constantly aware of what you have. A gratitude journal is a great daily exercise, but it can easily become a task and simply another thing to do on your to do list-that takes away some of the benefit of expressing gratitude. The power is in feeling gratitude, not in simply sitting down and doing something you should do. Wearing a piece of gratitude jewelry is effortless, it makes you feel good and gratitude becomes a part of your entire day.

A combination of massage therapy and accupressure are commonly use in combination with aromatherapy for a wonderful and therapuetic experience. Many physical conditions and afflictions should not be treated with aromatherapy and massage/accupressure. The reason for this avoidance is due mainly to the many different benefits and effects that one gets from the herbs and botanicals used for most of the aromatherapy massage oil mixtures. Therefore, it is essential that you check with a medical proffessional before trying aromatherapy treatments for specific ailments.

You need to be aware of both the benefits and dangers of using some specific aromatherapy massage oils. Most of the oils used for aromatherapy massages are not the same ones you’d use in an aromatherapy oil burner for instance.

Oils That Warm and Oils That Cool

Amongst the many benefits of using aromatherapy massage oils are their abilities to both warm or cool muscles. Some tense or overused muscle conditions will benefit from a warming oil which will allow the muscles to relax and recover. Sesame(warming), peppermint(warming), arnica(cooling), and sandalwood(cooling) are some of the most popular oils used for massage therapy when muscles are in need of warming or cooling.

Treating Muscle And Joint Pains

Aromatherapy treatment is often used to give relief to people who suffer from muscle and joint pain. Amongst some common conditions relieved by aromatherapy are arthritis, rheumatism, and cramps. Aromatherapy massage oils can be effective in lessening inflammation and relaxing tight muscles that are often the cause of cramps. Muscle pain will often benefit from the massage therapy, but when combined with aromatherapy, it becomes even more effective.

How NLP techniques work

There are many people in the world who can attest to the effectiveness of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP). So what is it about NLP that makes it able to cure phobias, break habits, develop confidence and change your internal state in such a short period of time?

To know how NLP works, we must first understand how our mind works. The human mind consists of 2 parts; the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. The conscious mind is the part of our mind that is conscious and holding your attention now. It does all the thinking, the reasoning and analysis. The subconscious mind, is the part that is in the background of the consciousness. It functions as the memory bank, drives emotions, imagination, habits etc.

Whatever is inside your subconscious mind literally dictates your life. This is because our subconscious mind controls our beliefs, fears, habits and emotions ” and these are the things that control your actions and thoughts. Your subconscious mind is why you keep on doing something even though you intellectually know you shouldnt.

These beliefs, habits etc that we have was not consciously decided by us. Rather, it was developed from the past events and experience in our lives. Obviously, a man with phobia for flying did not decide to have that phobia. Something triggered that, such as a really bad flight experience.

Since it’s founding in 1886, as a magazine for “first-class families”, Cosmopolitan has reported on modern social trends and has helped women live more glamorously by offering women a comprehensive guide to fashion and fitness, staying healthy and feeling good.

Since it’s founding in 1886, Cosmopolitan has been associated with empowering women and offering beauty and health advice. Their target audience is young women between the ages of 18 – 34 who are single or in relationships. Nowadays the content of their magazine features tips on relationships, beauty and health but with a strong emphasis on sex and often featuring illustrations of naked men. As an example, some males that have featured in the Cosmo mag include footballer, David Beckham, and actor, Daniel Craig.
